Drug Couple are a married couple who write music that sits somewhere in between indie rock and country. Their latest song, ‘Linda’s Tripp’, is a tune that slaps you around the face with instant energy. You can feel the blend of interesting influences (Dinosaur Jr, Neil Young etc.) straight away, but they have certainly put their own stamp on the style. The pair describe it as being “a song about a couple of teenage bloodsuckers and their tumultuous friendship.” It is taken from their upcoming album, Stone Weekend, which is due for release on February 18^th, 2022. -Dan Peeke
